You can pay your fare quickly and easily with your smartphone using the Token Transit app. Purchase passes to use immediately or store them for future rides. It’s simple to use and more convenient than cash. Here’s how it works in five easy steps.
Download "Token Transit" from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iPhone). You can also text "TOKEN" to 41411 to receive a download link.
Purchase - Select the rider category and fare you want to purchase. Purchased passes are stored for later use.
Activate - When you are ready to ride, tap your pass to activate. All passes are stored in your Token Transit account.
Ride - Show the BBB Operator your digital ticket. You're good to go!
Anyone may purchase any fare listed above. However, the following fares can only be used by qualifying riders and may require ID to board.

Passes can be used at any time after purchase. Purchased passes are stored in the "Stored Passes" section of the app. The countdown does not begin until after the pass is first used. For more information on how to use the app, checkout our video tutorial

Token Transit is a mobile ticketing app that lets you pay for and ride public transit with your phone. We partner with transit agencies across the country to offer fare payment for your public transit agency in our app.
Token Transit supports paying for public transit in dozens of public transit agencies across the country. Check the list of supported transit agencies in the Token Transit app for the latest agencies that support Token Transit.
Active passes will be displayed under “passes in use,” which immediately appears when the Token Transit app is opened. They display a “time left” section with time remaining until the pass expires
You are responsible for keeping your phone charged while using your pass. Refunds will not be issued if your phone’s battery dies while your pass is active.
An internet connection is required in order to purchase your pass. An internet connection is also required to use your pass for the first time, and to refresh once each day if your pass is active for multiple days (e.g. monthly pass).
Yes, you can view a log of your past actions by going to your Account Settings and selecting “History.” There will be a new entry every time you use a pass.
Your passes and payment information are linked to the account associated with your phone number. They are not linked to your physical phone. Logging in with your phone number on a new device will restore your previous pass and payment information.
Your account is tied to the phone number that you first used to log into the Token Transit app. You will receive an SMS message to verify your phone number when you log in.
You cannot change your account phone number from within the Token Transit app. If you need to change the phone number of your account contact us.
